Soo Line Survivors 1950s DVD
Soo Line Survivors 1950s DVD In the early 1950s, the Soo Line engaged in the railroad system linking Minneapolis, Winnipeg, Chicago and its namesake city, Sault Ste Marie, Michigan. Post-war challenges of switching from steam to more economical diesel were in the works. The three locomotives in this program: 1003, 2500 and 2719 were going about their business on Soo Line Rails at the same time. Thanks to preservation efforts, these fine examples are still with us and they have been captured running the rails with multiple HD Cameras. 96 min. Minimal narration.
